The Retro Displacement Hull is the ultimate rail surfing machine. Good for surfing point and reef waves from shoulder high and higher. Smooth deep bottom turns and big radius turn backs and more speed than you have ever experienced.  Originally I shaped these boards during my days at Wilderness and now with subtle refinements.

Clear high quality lamination of: 7.5 oz Volan with 4oz fin batch bottom, 7.5 oz Volan and 4oz deck. O’fish’l  10”glassed in fin box. 9” fiberglass flex fin included.

D.R. special process sanded finish that is similar to a sanded gloss (but does not have a gloss coat) which is machine sanded  to 400grit, then is sanded back wet by hand with 320 grit.

Each new Retro D.R. Displacement Hull will have a one of a kind pin line or pin striping detail on the deck.  These are decided by myself and my gifted board paint and line artist to give each board a unique look all its own.  There will not be another board the same, maybe similar but not the same.
